The institution of Roehampton is a well-known public institution in the United Kingdom that was founded in 1841 by the National Society. Currently, 9,000 students are enrolled in the University of Roehampton campus. Approximately 14% of these students are foreign, representing 146 different countries. International students at the University of Roehampton can choose from 75 undergraduate programmes, 69 postgraduate programmes, 10 higher technical programmes, and many non-degree programmes.
The University of Roehampton boasts a magnificent parkland campus with contemporary facilities scattered across 54 acres of land. The university campus is home to one of London's greatest university libraries. The university campus is divided into three locations by four historic colleges: Digby Stuart, Froebel, Southlands, and Whitelands.
The Students' Union organises live music, karaoke, and The Bop, a regular Friday nightclub night. Students can join over 50 student union clubs based on their interests. International students have access to on-campus sports and recreation facilities such as gyms, martial arts, outdoor sports, esports, and so on. Sports and leisure activities include, among others, badminton, football, and yoga. Candidates can socialise at cafés, restaurants, pubs, and self-catering facilities, among other places. The University cultivates a vibrant musical culture on campus through fostering jazz, classical music, and musical theatre.
